"May We Never Forget!"

I remember five years ago today, I was sitting in class oblivious to what was going on or the danger my country was in. I remember my sister and Sister Zechman coming to the door and asking to speak to me, so I went outside and they told me that the twin towers were hit. My mom was in Jordan. At the time, I didn't realize the danger or seriousness of what just happened, in fact I don't think I even knew what the twin towers were. But that day, many people were lost. Now that it has been five years since the attack, I realize now more than ever what a powerful tragedy that day was....many children lost theirs fathers, mothers never got to see their children again, firefighters never made it back to their families. The grief that was felt as a country was terrible, but the grief of a family over their lost loved ones, I'm sure was so much worse! We look back on that day with sadness, but also with great pride knowing we had people, who cared enough about us and about their country so much that they were willing to risk their lives for others, to me...they are heros! May we never forget the people that died that day, may we come together as a country, one nation under GOD and stand up for our Country...The good ol' USA!!!

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." Psalms 91:1
